History
The car was built at the Pontiac plant in Baltimore (MD) and sold by GM of Canada at Moncton (NB). It is one of only 14 1969 GTO convertibles with Ram Air IV engine and automatic transmission. I bought the vehicle from an owner in Tennessee, in 2006. The car was the cover story in the magazine CarCollector, September,2004.
In Switzerland you cannot choose a number, you just get the next digits, in the canton (state) of Aargau now they have arrived at about# 500'000. But in 2007 we had the chance to make an exchange and to catch the license plate with the number 19694. And of course we painted a small point between '9' and ''4'.
The car is not a 'model behind glass', but we really drive it.
